Google Cloud Development

Seditio Asia builds and operates production systems on Google Cloud Platform — serverless applications on Cloud Run, hosted virtual machines on Compute Engine, Managed SQL databases and BigQuery analytics — with continuous deployment across every platform in its portfolio.

Google Cloud is Seditio's primary platform, and the choice is practical rather than partisan. Cloud Run gives SaaS products serverless containers that scale from zero to enterprise traffic without infrastructure staff; Managed SQL removes the database-administration burden that quietly consumes small teams; BigQuery turns analytics from a project into a query. For product companies that want engineering effort spent on the product, the economics are hard to argue with.

We do not write about Google Cloud from documentation — we run our portfolio on it. Serverless workloads on Cloud Run, hosted VMs where reserved compute is the right answer, managed databases and continuous deployment pipelines operate across all the platforms we manage, sustaining 99.5%+ uptime for customers in multiple countries.

Google Cloud services we build with

Our GCP work concentrates on the services that carry production SaaS platforms: compute, data and delivery. We design each system around the narrowest set of services that does the job well — fewer moving parts means cheaper operation and faster incident response.

  • Cloud Run — serverless containerised applications that scale to zero
  • Compute Engine — hosted virtual machines for reserved and specialised workloads
  • Managed SQL — production PostgreSQL and MySQL without the administration overhead
  • BigQuery — analytics and reporting over product and operational data
  • CI/CD pipelines for continuous, low-risk deployment

From greenfield builds to GCP migrations

New platforms get serverless-first architectures designed for Cloud Run from the first sprint, which keeps early running costs minimal and removes the re-architecture cliff when traffic arrives. Existing systems — whether on legacy hosting or another cloud — get an incremental migration plan that moves workloads without interrupting service.

Every design is reviewed by senior engineers, including our CTO, and every platform we deploy carries monitoring, alerting and deployment automation as standard, because we are usually the team operating it afterwards.

Google Cloud for Asia-Pacific organisations

Google Cloud's Asia-Pacific presence lets applications be deployed close to users and data kept where policy or preference requires. From Cebu, our engineers work inside the region's business day — overlapping Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Sydney hours — so deployments, incidents and platform decisions happen in your working hours, not someone's overnight shift.

Frequently asked questions

Why do you favour Cloud Run for SaaS platforms?
Because it matches how SaaS revenue actually grows. Cloud Run runs standard containers, scales to zero when idle and scales out automatically under load, so an early-stage product pays almost nothing for infrastructure while keeping a production-grade path to enterprise traffic. It also keeps applications portable — a container is not a lock-in commitment.
Can you migrate our existing systems to Google Cloud?
Yes. We plan migrations incrementally — typically databases to Managed SQL and applications to Cloud Run or Compute Engine depending on the workload — with each step validated in production before the next. The application keeps serving users throughout.
Do you manage Google Cloud environments after launch?
Yes. Continuous deployment, monitoring, alerting and cost review run across every platform we operate, and the portfolio sustains 99.5%+ uptime. You retain ownership of the GCP project and billing account; we operate within it.
